Selling Tips: Checklist

	Have the exterior power washed.
	Make the front entrance inviting.  Paint the front door, if necessary.
	Plant some flowers or put some flower pots on your front porch.
	Clear away the clutter. Store things in your attic or rent a storage space, if necessary.
	Clean the house thoroughly.  Consider hiring a weekly cleaning service during the time your home is on the market.
	Freshen the appearance of rooms.  Touch up worn paint.
	Arrange furniture for spaciousness.
	Do all you can to reduce odors.  If possible, keep pets in the garage or outside during showings.
	Perform minor repairs, if necessary.  Replace rotten siding, etc.
	Replace outdated light fixtures.
	Polish cabinet hardware.
	Clean the carpeting.
	Clean the garage and/or basement.
	Consider repainting the interior with neutral colors.
